Republican presidential candidate John McCain will be greeted by some union folks when he heads to the Capital Hotel Friday to raise campaign cash. They won’t be chipping in, but distributing information about the Employee Free Choice Act, a bipartisan bill that would remove some obstacles to union organizing. The bill has 47 Senate co-sponsors, not including McCain.

McCain also will depart the company of fat cats to make a visit to Arkansas Baptist College. He’s been making a point on his current fund-raising swing of touching base with black constituencies.
