Gene Pfeifer writes to highlight some specifics of interest to cyclists in Mayor Mark Stodola's state of the city speech Thursday:

1. He was pleased to have the Clinton Foundation reaffirm their commitment to renovate the bridge. We will enter into an agreement with them as required by our Lease and set a time line for completion

2. “I regret that the Medical Mile does not connect to the River Trail at the west end and I hope to shortly be making an announcement of a route that will accomplish this”.

3. “We will designate West 12th street as a bike route and provide striping and signage to accomplish this.”
