Hot race for courthouse

Posted By on Mon, May 12, 2008 at 7:05 PM

Our web design isn't exactly intuitive concerning on-line comments on our regular articles for the print edition. Used to be, they appeared immediately after the article. Now, you must click the comments link at the top of a story to see them.

But, nonetheless, readers have figured out the puzzle. Some 80 comments and counting have been added to the article about Cecily Skarda's hard-hitting challenge of incumbent Circuit Judge Mary McGowan. Spirited, to put it mildly.

Here's the story. Click the "your comments" button at top of story to read comments. Most recent comments are at top.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson apparently felt the burn from KARK's exclusive Tuesday night on his plans to cut state support of War Memorial Stadium in half beginning July 1, 2018. He has a so-far secret plan to make the stadium self-sustaining. We bet that doesn't include state support.

  • Bad health care bill, again

Wait! Postpone tax reform and everything else for a while longer because the Senate is going to try to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act one more time before September ends and while it can do it with the votes of only 50 senators.
