Today’s lottery media event later this morning at the Capitol:
A Pulaski Tech student (remember, the proceeds would be for college scholarships) today will sign, symbolically, as signature No. 77,468 on the lottery petitions. That’s the number necessary to qualify the state lottery amendment for the ballot. Signature-gathering will continue, up to 100,000 or so, in advance of the July 7 deadline to provide a cushion for signatures ruled ineligible.
