Out of order

Oops. The Junction Bridge, reopened with great fanfare Saturday as a pedestrian link, is currently not open. Access is blocked on both ends while some further construction work continues, including installation of some railings. This is a view from the elevator landing on the Little Rock side toward North Little Rock.

We wrote originally that a security guard had said the elevator was broken. In fact, it was taken out of service for work on other parts of the structure, a member of the contractor's crew said.
