Bermuda: small world

Posted By on Wed, May 21, 2008 at 4:50 PM

The governor of Bermuda has responded to members of Arkansas's congressional delegation who've written him on behalf of Gary Barket, the Little Rock lawyer arrested as he left Bermuda for taking a gun (he'd forgotten it, he said) through Bermuda security.

As you can see, it's a small world. The governor didn't have much to offer by way of help, but he did say that he'd run into Barket at the theater. Barket is not in jail, but may not leave Bermuda pending his trial.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson apparently felt the burn from KARK's exclusive Tuesday night on his plans to cut state support of War Memorial Stadium in half beginning July 1, 2018. He has a so-far secret plan to make the stadium self-sustaining. We bet that doesn't include state support.
