McCain's pastor II UPDATE

Posted By on Fri, May 23, 2008 at 10:04 AM

John McCain has jettisoned the vile John Hagee. But what about Rod Parsley? He hasn't distanced himself from Parsley, who is equally odious and who has called for the destruction of Islam.

UPDATE: Call it a political deathbed conversion. McCain, who went to Ohio in February to embrace Parsley, now has decided -- since some light is being shed on Parsley's long history of intolerance -- that he doesn't want his endorsement after all. Of course he now has the Republican nomination. He needed Parsley to go after evangelicals earlier. Now, situational ethics apply.

Wait for it.   In other news: It appears the hearing is on for Christine Blasey Ford to talk about Brett Kavanaugh's alleged sexual assault of her when she was 15 and he was an older high school student.
