Happily never after - UPDATE

Posted By on Mon, May 26, 2008 at 6:55 AM

Any Pope County readers have a clue why a guy went postal and shot up an outdoor wedding near Russellville Saturday?

UPDATE: Channel 11 has the nub of it. Bring a dog to your wedding and you might be looking for trouble. (That is not a bride or groom joke.)

"After the wedding the suspect's dog and the bride and groom's dog got into a fight. Patrick DuVall [the suspect]  was in no way associated with anyone at the party. He and his female friend were there swimming. DuVall then got into a heated argument with the bride, Melissa Smith and groom Mike Beavers. He went to his car, got a gun and began shooting at the wedding party."
