Wedding bell blues UPDATE

Posted By on Tue, May 27, 2008 at 11:02 AM

Fox 16 is still following the story of the weekend -- the shootup of a Piney Creek-side wedding near Dover that left the bride and groom in critical condition and two others wounded. The newlyweds have been updated to fair today, Fox 16 reports.

More details emerging. The shooter was unknown to the wedding party, which had gathered at a public access point on the creek. The groom and the shooter apparently argued over their respective dogs. The groom brought his pit bull to the ceremony.

This will shock you. Fox 16 reports alcohol was involved.

UPDATE: The Courier in Russellville has some new reporting on the case. It appears that the shooter stole a pickup after he stranded his own sports utility vehicle on the low water bridge across Piney Creek. He was nabbed at the Russellville Burger King.
