Crumbly vote: a measure of Senate

Posted By on Sat, Jun 14, 2008 at 3:35 PM

Andrew DeMillo's weekly column assesses the significance of the split Senate vote to keep Sen. Jack Crumbly as a member despite election fraud -- none put squarely at his feet -- in 2006. Fair subject, but to see Bobby Glover quoted as saying the vote damaged credibility of the Senate is to suggest the Senate possessed credibility in the first place. And also it suggests that large numbers of people outside Crumbly's district, if then, took notice or cared. (Gee, that sounds cynical, doesn't it?)
