Primetime: Janie Ward

Posted By on Tue, Jun 24, 2008 at 9:28 AM

Arkansas's armchair sleuths should be sure to tune in to KATV Channel 7 tomorrow night at 9 p.m. for "Primetime: Crime," the latest incarnation of ABC's long-running news-mag show

On tap: their three-year investigation into the mysterious 1989 death of Marshall teenager Janie Ward. As you'll remember, an original autopsy said that Ward died as the result of a fall from a short porch. Others -- including her parents, new witnesses, and a second forensic pathologist hired to examine the body -- say she was the victim of foul play.

Pro: An in-depth look at a great Arkansas murder mystery

Con: The inevitable appearance by shameless attention leech Mike Masterson.
