Rallying McCain's troops

Posted By on Fri, Jul 11, 2008 at 8:30 AM

I mentioned a Zogby poll recently that showed Barack Obama two points ahead (though statistically tied) with John McCain in Arkansas.

The Republican Party is using it as a battle cry.

ARKANSAS GOP MAILING

New Poll Shows Arkansas' 6 Electoral Votes as "Too Close to Call"

A new Zogby poll shows that Obama is leading McCain 41% to 39% in Arkansas – making our state "too close to call" for either candidate!

Obama has closed the gap and seemingly overtaken McCain since becoming the presumptive Democrat nominee.  His ultra-liberal campaign is spending big money here with plans to open up offices, recruit volunteers, and work to get out the Democrat vote.  They will have a fully staffed team and more in mere days!

We need your help TODAY to ensure that we can spread John McCain's message to the voters of Arkansas.  Barack Obama does not represent Arkansans values, and we must make sure that our 6 electoral votes go to the candidate that most represents our views.

I'm asking you to please donate online to the Republican Party of Arkansas in the next 48 hours.  Your $100, $50, $25, or anything that you can give right now will make a big difference

We need your help to pay for regional headquarters.  By the end of the month, we will have offices open in Washington, White, Sebastian, Faulkner, and Pulaski Counties.  We will aggressively reach supporters by walking door to door, making important voter identification calls, and sharing John McCain's message with voters.

If you say yes to our request, you'll help us send a strong message that we are ready for a fight.  Please take a moment out of your day and click here to donate.  We need your URGENT help today!

Thank you for all that you've already done in this important election year.  We must work harder than ever to put John McCain on top in Arkansas.

Sincerely,

Doyle Webb

Arkansas Victory Chairman

P.S. If just 100 people gave $100 each, we would be able to fund our regional offices for the next two months!  Your gift of any amount will help us reach our goal.  Please click here to give a gift of $100, $50, or even $25 TODAY!

Methodology: Zogby International conducted an online survey of 461 likely voters. The poll ran from June 11-30. It carries a margin of error of +/- 4.7 percentage points
