Cops kill burglar

Posted By on Wed, Jul 16, 2008 at 5:31 PM

Fox 16 has the details on the Little Rock police killing of a burglary suspect in an exchange of gunfire in Leawood today.

He was identified as William Spradling, 25. He was being sought for questioning in the burglary of theWLR  home of his former girlfriend's mother, Fox 16 reported.

UPDATE: The police later corrected their initial account of the shooting on which the first Fox 16 report was based. They now say the suspect apparently did not fire the gun he drew on officers before he was shot. The police report says he "attempted to shoot" the officers.
