The Hurricane

Though it looks like much of South Louisiana dodged a bullet when Hurricane Gustav weakened considerably just before landfall, the mass exodus from the area has had its own consequences.

Here's the story of a Lake Charles woman's desperate search for her hospitalized husband, who was literally lost in the paperwork shuffle after being evacuated from the area along with thousands of other patients.

Thankfully, it's a story with a happy ending at the Little Rock VA hospital.
