Speaking of Sarah Palin: There’s a fine op-ed in the New York Times today about the need for comprehensive sex education in the U.S. Be sure to look at the accompanying graphic. The U.S. is a world leader in teen pregnancy. But take a look at, for example, Scandinavian countries with a higher rate of teen sexual activity. The birth rate is much, much, much lower. That ain’t from the abstinence-only education that Palin believes in, that’s for sure.
