Seeking park land

Mayor Mark Stodola has asked Central Arkansas Water to give the city land east of the Lake Maumelle dam on Highway 300 for athletic fields. Stodola said it would be a good fit with state park property acros the road. The request is on the Water Commission agenda Thursday.
