Obama wants you

Posted By on Fri, Sep 12, 2008 at 11:16 AM

The Obama/Biden campaign just launched a website for Camp Obama Arkansas, their new grassroots effort designed to flip Arkansas's switch from Red to Blue in the upcoming presidential election.

First up: Three training camps to be held September 20 - 21 in North Little Rock, Fayetteville and Jonesboro, where campaign officials hope to turn Obama supporters into Obama activists.  If you're leaning toward Obama -- or just concerned about the prospect of a win by the McThuselah/Caribou Barbie ticket -- now's your chance to get out there and do something.

Great piece in Washington Post on the budget crisis in Louisiana. Big tax cuts and corporate welfare will do that to a state, particularly to a state whose previous governor, Republican Bobby Jindal, refused to join the Obamacare-funded Medicaid expansion. There's a lesson there for Arkansas.
