Mailbag update

Posted By on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 6:14 PM

After leaving the office early, some mail piled up.

One piece: An article from the Cabot Star Herald that says Lonoke Prosecutor Lona McCastlain, who's prosecuted some big cases, will resign at the end of the year because her husband, an Air Guard colonel, has a new assignment in Europe.

Gov. Mike Beebe would appoint a successor. One name going around: Will Feland of Cabot, unlike McCastlain, a Democrat.
