Looking for Rosey

Has it really been more than 24 years since an auto accident claimed the life of Roosevelt Thompson? He was the Central High graduate and Rhodes Scholar from Yale, where an annual prize now honors the student best exemplifying Thompson's commitment to public service. The generation born since his death probably passes the Little Rock branch library in Chenal Valley in oblivion, if they wonder at all about the extraordinary person for whom it is named.

I'm reminded of Rosey, whom I knew through his part-time work during high school at the Arkansas Gazette, by a plea for contributions to a documentary film being made about him by a Yale classmate. This website has all the information, including a good clip of film work done so far.
