Pressly update

Posted By on Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 4:48 PM

Today's statement from the family of KATV morning anchor Anne Pressly, severely injured in a beating during a home intrusion Sunday night or early Monday:

Anne had a good night, she's still in critical condition but signs are stable. The swelling in her brain is beginning to subside. Doctors are encouraged by her progress at this point. Ity is still too early too determine the full extent of her injuries.

The family continues to seek your prayers and appreciates your continued consideration of the request for privacy.

Police have been unable to talk to Pressly since the crime.
