Today’s statement from the family of KATV morning anchor Anne Pressly, severely injured in a beating during a home intrusion Sunday night or early Monday:

Anne had a good night, she’s still in critical condition but signs are stable. The swelling in her brain is beginning to subside. Doctors are encouraged by her progress at this point. Ity is still too early too determine the full extent of her injuries.

Police have been unable to talk to Pressly since the crime.
