Palin, clothed and unclothed

Posted By on Wed, Nov 5, 2008 at 3:36 PM

Newsweek has posted quite a story on its website dishing up some dirt on S. Palin -- including a nice little tidbit about her chat with campaign aides in nothing but a towel during the GOP convention and news that she spent "tens of thousands" of dollars more on clothing than the $150,000 that's been reported, including $20,000 for her husband's duds -- and revealing an FBI investigation of hackers breaking into Obama's and McCain's computers. And this:

On the Sunday night before the last debate, McCain's core group of advisers—Steve Schmidt, Rick Davis, adman Fred Davis, strategist Greg Strimple, pollster Bill McInturff and strategy director Sarah Simmons—met to decide whether to tell McCain that the race was effectively over, that he no longer had a chance to win. The consensus in the room was no, not yet, not while he still had "a pulse."

Schmidt said "thanks, but no thanks" to letting Palin speak last night, Newsweek also reports.
