Where there's a will there's a Webb

A couple of candidates have emerged to chair the state Republican Party now that Dennis "What We Need is Another 9/11" Milligan has announced plans not to seek another term.

They include former Sen. Doyle Webb of Benton. Also current party treasurer Joseph Wood of Fayetteville.

The Arkansas Project tosses Jake Files' name into the hat. Also arriving here: indications that the Huckabee faction may like Webb. And that Tim Griffin, he who need not be introduced, is another name floating about.

I got the message today before noon; others didn't find out until it was going on. But however folks found out, they turned out in huge numbers, more than thousand men, women and children, on the grounds of the state Capitol to listen to speakers from all faiths and many countries.
