Blues duo immortalized

The Oxford American's 10th anniversary music edition hit mailboxes today along with news that the magazine had won a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The two-disc collection of music that comes free with the magazine includes Elton and Betty White's 1987 classic, "A Jelly Behind Woman Blows My Mind." The couple that once made a hit on the streets of Little Rock is shown in photo.

Other Arkie entries include Lucinda Williams' "Something About What Happens When We Talk"; Dale Hawkins' "Boogie Chillen," and the late Charlie Rich doing "Feel Like Going Home."

Look for the issue with Jerry Lee Lewis on the cover.
