Blog watching

David Kinkade over at The Arkansas Project (does he have a real job?) has stumbled on the test site for the long-promised new website of Stephens Media. This is the place in which John Brummett promises to rejuvenate his blogging career.

Looks pretty good. Good idea, too. A one-stop site for Arkansas news. Free access. If it has sports scores, the AP wire, a good weather portal and market access, plus all the locally generated stuff of the various Stephens papers, you could get in the habit of going there. Enough people do that, you might be able to sell some ads to it. It could create a competitive conundrum for the Democrat-Gazette, done right.
