This from a Farm Journal newsletter, FYI:

Speculation on who will get the top USDA post continues. As this drags on, “wildcards” become more possible. Some note there are no Republicans yet in the Obama team besides Robert Gates, a “holdover” at Defense. Two wildcards: Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (R-Mo.), who has frequently voted with Democrats, and popular Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.).
