Rock on

Posted By on Thu, Dec 25, 2008 at 12:58 PM

Have you checked Lindsey Millar's Rock Candy blog lately? Check it out. At the top  is a monumental alphabet worth of 2008 on the local music scene, with lots of free sounds to sample. Thanks to Lindsey, I was introduced belatedly to Dan Penn. His CD was among my Christmas loot. (If you must know: Lots of socks, a sweat suit, new earphones for my iPod, the second Sopranos cookbook, a blue donkey tie, the annual soap-on-a-rope.)
