Caution: Opportunists at work

Posted By on Mon, Dec 29, 2008 at 10:10 AM

I guess I should be happy it's not more opportunistic gay bashing.

But union bashing -- in a right to work state with a tiny and dwindling union population -- is just about as repugnant.

So, surprise, Sen. Gilbert Baker is leading the effort, John Brummett reports, to enshrine the secret ballot union vote in the state, fricking, constitution.

Baker's a man who likes his secrecy. Particularly when it comes to favors for pals at his hometown college. And you just know it's the working man, and not the bosses, whose interest he has at heart in this altruistic effort.

And, urp, speaking of opportunists, Bill Vickery is on the case.
