LRSD budget talks, contd.

Little Rock School Superintendent Linda Watson has responded to a letter from Board president Dianne Curry about the budget cuts required by a drop in enrollment.

It's all right here, with Watson's bold-faced responses inserted within Curry's letter.

Key point: Watson contends that the district's administrative spending has been overstated and that a review by the district's chief financial officer shows the percentage of administrative spending in line with state averages, around 5 percent. That will bear more examination.
