Praise the Lord; pass the ammo

Bill filed to allow concealed weapon permit holders to take their heaters to church.

Pictured is lead sponsor Beverly Pyle, a Republican from Cedarville. No relation to Gomer, except spiritually. Trying to find out what the heck Lindsley Smith is doing on this bill.

UPDATE: I hear, too, that Marvelous Mark Martin is lurking with an "open carry" gun bill. Why half measures? Why not a required gun ownership bill? Those found without weapons loaded would be subject to fines. Guns required in school and the Capitol.
