Chip the magic loser

Posted By on Thu, Jan 29, 2009 at 2:27 PM

Looks like Mike Huckabee won't have his former campaign manager as chairman of the Republican National Committee. Looks like Chip Saltsman won't make the ballot. No factor, WaPo says. UPDATE: He's officially toast.

Already under fire over the "Barack the Magic Negro" tune on a gift CD he'd sent around to voters, Saltsman had more recently come under fire from the important Hispanic community (not so many blacks in the Republican Party) for the "Star Spanglish Banner" spoof of Hispanic immigrants on the same CD.

As with all ill that befalls Team Huckabee, this was the media's fault. For factually reporting stupid deeds.
