Bond daddy watch

A move is afoot for more regulation of the bond business. Good idea, given questions about the frequency of municipal bond refinancing, with all the fees each generates, and the dubious worth of some bond issues. It's an occasion in the New York Times piece to recall the giant Pulaski County housing bond boondoggle that produced virtually nothing for credit-impaired home owners, but millions in fees for consultants and financiers.
