GOP goes funky UPDATE

Posted By on Thu, Feb 19, 2009 at 2:15 PM

New RNC Chairman Michael Steele, or maybe we should call him the Mr. B.I.G. of Today's Republican Party, promises to update the image of the GOP, in part by applying the party's principles to urban hiphop settings.

Looks like an opening for Philander Smith's hiphop president, Walter Kimbrough, to bring Steele down for his Bless the Mic lecture series.

UPDATE: Check the comments. Dr. Kimbrough is way ahead of me. Steele should be in Little Rock for an appearance at Philander in September.
