Questions, questions

Posted By on Thu, Feb 19, 2009 at 6:08 AM

Brummett joins the questioning Republican chorus on the stimulus bill -- how much, for what? My questions: What's the alternative? And if money reaches even, horrors, school teachers in the form of additional pay, won't that be spent and percolate through the economy?

I just hope that the carping Republican governors mentioned here go so far as to turn down the stimulus money. The Just Say No approach ought to work as well on politics as it does on preventing teen pregnancies.

UPDATE: The hypocrite Republican govenror of South Carolina says he still doesn't approve, but, OK, he'll take the money.
