Thanks to reader Fed Up to Here for a link to an interesting article Sunday in the Dallas Morning News. The city of Arlington, Texas has poured more than $325 million into a new stadium for Arkie Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys. The promise was a return from massive attendant development of hotels, restaurants, etc. Well, unless you count CiCi’s Pizza and a Pitt Grill, not much has happened.

All seem to be blaming the economy, rather than the possibility that this was yet another load of overhyped soap sold to a gullible municipality by a trickle-down promoter.
