Classroom discipline

Posted By on Tue, Mar 10, 2009 at 4:17 PM

Fox 16 continues as the local leader in original TV news reporting, particularly in terms of regular web updates. Case in point: This interesting story on a first grade teacher in Rison who apparently decided the only way to control most of the children in her class was to tape them to their desks. Teacher has been placed on administrative leave. School Board has not yet responded in a manner satisfactory to unhappy parents.

UPDATE: A Channel 7 staffer notes that 7 developed this complaint first, though it's true that 16 alone was on-site with live reporting at the school board meeting this week. I appreciate the input from any and all with news tips and indicate credit of sources by links to fuller versions of the stories.
