Slipping away

Times are tough. But at least you don't live on that North Little Rock hillside where a ruinous hillside cut for commercial development has rendered two hilltop homes unsafe.

The North Little Rock Times will be reporting this week on another rock slide, larger and in a slightly different location than an earlier event that imperiled a home on Cedar Street in Park HIll. The city engineer says the likelihood of a "larger failure" increases with each day. Rain this week won't help.
