The taxman cometh

Posted By on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 12:06 PM

Federal prosecutors in Oklahoma may have finally found the key to getting Fort Smith lawyer Oscar Stilley out of the public eye for good. He's been accused in a federal indictment, along with a Kellyville, Okla. minister, of scheming to avoid payment of federal income taxes.

The lengthy indictment includes details of the Oklahoma preacher moving money through Stilley's trust account and back out for purchase of a Corvette, Lexus, motor home, etc. Stilley was last heard from here in a disbarment proceeding, still in the throes of an appeal.
