It ain't chicken feed

Louisiana has upped its offer for the Pilgrim's Pride chicken processing plant in Farmerville, La., to $60 million. Still no word on similar activity for the nearby plant in El Dorado, also closed by the troubled poultry producer.

Please don't get me wrong. This is honest toil with solid economic benefits. But when we start socializing McNugget production, we are in a world of hurt.
