Lincoln polling: 'Good but not great'

Posted By on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 11:02 AM

A Democratic-oriented polling outfit releases as promised its numbers from recent telephone polling on U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln. "Good but not great." She leads, but didn't crack 50 percent, in matchups against either of a pair of relatively unknown Republicans -- Sen. Gilbert Baker and Tim Griffin. Not good.

I think Baker may get in this race. But he might want to call Bill Alexander about misunderestimating Sen. Lincoln.

Go straight to this link for detailed report.

PS -- Repubs will make hay from this and puff up the polling firm's Democratic connections. But it had a pretty good record in 2008, for what it's worth.
