Casino initiative

Posted By on Tue, Mar 31, 2009 at 10:20 AM

A Texas man who's submitted multiple ballot issue proposals to allow casino gambling in Arkansas has had his latest idea certified as to form by the attorney general. He got one approved in 2006, too, but dropped a signature drive to get it on the ballot. I wouldn't hold my breath, but this one would allow casinos in seven counties. They're already more or less allowed in two -- as racino monopolies at Southland and Oaklawn parks.
