Another Obama disappointment

I know. They'll say it's not time. That there are more important things to be done now.

But Barack Obama the candidate said he'd end the don't-ask-don't-tell policy in the military. His defense secretary's clear indication that it may never happen is mighty discouraging news.

If not now, when? If not this president, who? Justice delayed is justice denied.

UPDATE: Maybe John McCain would have done it. His campaign manager plans a speech today urging the end of Republican opposition to same-sex marriage.
