Turning blue

Posted By on Wed, Apr 29, 2009 at 11:14 AM

I exaggerate the color. Make it purple. But Rep. Steve Harrelson says a Republican state representative will announce conversion to the Democratic Party this week. No hints if it's a term-limited legislator or not.

OOPS. He didn't say "Republican." He just said "legislator." That also means it could be Green Party Rep. Richard Carroll of North Little Rock.

UPDATE: It is Carroll, Stephens Media's reports. I think he really is blue.  But he'll have a tough primary in 2010 if, as many expect, term-limited Sen. Tracy Steele runs for the seat.
