People v. insurance companies

Posted By on Sat, May 2, 2009 at 8:00 AM

Brummett stakes out the battle lines on the coming debate on a move toward national health care. Will the U.S. join the western world? Or will the cries of socialism defeat the Obama administration. (It didn't defeat Medicare and you won't find more than a few cranks left who are sorry about that.)

The pressing Arkansas question is whether our entire Democratic delegation will join the Democratic president on this issue. Dr. Boozman will stand in opposition, naturally, everybody in the Third District being able to afford to buy health insurance.
