Stimulus needed

Posted By on Sat, May 2, 2009 at 8:55 AM

You know, maybe a good stimulus program would have kept this temple from falling apart.

Bad joke.

The sun's shining in Athens. Just a brief howdy. I was going to lay off, but a head shake seemed in order on the latest UCA news. And, well, one thing led to another. By the time I thought about snapping a photo of the kebabs I had for lunch down the hill from here, they were gone. The city market was a riot of noise and smells, the seafood haul beyond anything I've seen.
