Curtis Lavelle Vance, in court this morning, told Circuit Judge Chris Piazza that he wasn’t happy with the public defense team working on his case. Arkansas News reports that the suspect in the killing of KATV anchor Anne Pressley complained that he didn’t learn of the DNA testing linking his hair to the scene from his lawyers but from the media.

“The prosecutors know more about the case than I do … you all got the world thinking I did this,” he said, adding, “I need to see some results.”

Vance’s lawyer wants him to get a mental evaluation.
