State nudges fed court

Posted By on Tue, May 19, 2009 at 4:33 PM

The state of Arkansas, ">through the attorney general's office, asks the federal court to get moving on hearings to declare the North Little Rock and Pulaski County School Districts desegregated. This would set the stage for the state's disentanglement from the case.

I think the troubled Pulaski district may be problematic on a number of counts in the days ahead, not all related to desegregation issues.
