Those freeway slayings

State Police not talking further today about the search for three men wanted for questioning in a double slaying last week.

STATE POLICE STATEMENT

The Arkansas State Police is continuing to investigate the murders of Tammy Lawrence and Ahki Hughes.  At this time no arrests have been made and special agents assigned to the case continue to interview individuals who may have information about the killings.
 
With regard to follow-up questions many of you have asked today about the search for three men State Police special agents were seeking to question yesterday; no further statements will be made at this time.
 
Persons with information about anything unusual they may have seen in the area along the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 between Burns Park and Crystal Hill Road late Friday evening May 8th or Saturday morning before dawn May 9th or anyone with information about the murders of Lawrence and Hughes should contact the Arkansas State Police Crime Hotline at (800) 553-3820.
