Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, coming to Ark. later in June, said today he won’t seek re-election, spurring speculation that he’ll enter the presidential race. If that happens, further speculation is that he’ll curry favor with the Republican base by forcing Al Franken to sue until there’s a Democratic majority on the U.S. Supreme Court to get a seat in the Senate. Though that kind of anti-democratic behavior can cut both ways.
