$21 million verdict for doctor

Posted By on Fri, Jun 5, 2009 at 4:19 PM

A 15-year-old case produced a $21 million jury verdict this week for Little Rock Dr. Jon Dodson and a related medical clinic against Allstate Insurance Company. Arkansas Business has the news.

Also from Arkansas Business' afternoon report: job furloughs and layoffs planned by the media company whose properties include Fox 16. No word yet about impact in Little Rock. (UPDATE: At a minimum, two-week furloughs (effectively about a 4 percent pay cut) will apply.)
